Net Metering may be available for residential and small commercial customers with renewable energy systems. VMEU integrates these systems without affecting service quality. Due to high renewable energy levels, new systems over 5 kWAC may not be supported.
VMEU will introduce new electric rates reflecting the true cost of maintaining the system. Customers will be kept informed during this change. Net metered customers must sign a Service Agreement, and additional documents might be required for non-net metered equipment.
